HOUSTON, TEXAS, May 15—His Father’s Heart Ministries (HFHM) has received a grant of $3,500 from the Texas Bar Association to support its Life Groups programming.
“We are incredibly grateful to the Texas Bar Association,” says Lauren Maldonado, COO of HFHM. “Through the generosity of our sponsors, grants like this make it possible for us to provide programming that helps heal the brokenhearted.”
Since its inception in 1965, the Texas Bar Foundation has awarded more than $24 million in grants to law-related programs. Supported by members of the State Bar of Texas, the Texas Bar Foundation is the nation’s largest charitably-funded bar foundation.
Life Groups are led by Tracy Taylor Gelbaugh, Director of Women’s Ministries at HFHM. “We want you to know that you are not alone,” says Gelbaugh. “Through Life Groups at His Father’s Heart Ministries, we embark on the Journey Into His Father’s Heart together.”
His Father’s Heart Ministries was founded in 2001 by Joey Gentempo to change lives by healing broken hearts. “It is crucial to reunite husbands and wives, sons and daughters, and fathers and mothers with their children when crime, sin, or the effects of trauma have separated them,” says Joey Gentempo, President and Executive Director of HFHM. “This is the reason for what we do at His Father’s Heart Ministries and why we do it.”
