Angelina Greene, our boots on the ground partner in Mumbai, is the founder of Aadharshila Charitable Trust in Mumbai, India. She has been using The Journey to show the women she rescues from the flesh trade how to navigate life within Christ’s culture of value.
Rescuing Women.
Working in the Red Light Area in Mumbai, Angelina helps women who have been trafficked exit prostitution and ministers to the broken-hearted by instilling a culture of value in Jesus Christ.
Educating Children.
Aadharshila Charitable Trust not only rescues the women caught in the flesh trade but the children as well, offering education and care so they can have a better future.
Providing a Trade.
Angelina leads a group of women who teaches the survivors sewing skills in order to make their livelihood. They make and sell lovely jute tote bags in order to provide an income for them and their families.
