John Van Wagoner
My name is John Van Wagoner. I was born and grew up on Long Island, NY. While I was a graduate student at Rice University, I met Judy Cisneros. We were married in December 1976 and raised two children in Houston. After 43 years in Houston, we moved to the mountains of North Carolina where we are blessed to live near our 4 grandchildren.
I was baptized in a Presbyterian Church when I was 13, but first truly encountered Jesus Christ in a dream in 1992. In that dream, Jesus invited me to enter the Kingdom of God. I accepted His offer, and in that moment, I became a new creation in Christ.
God called me into healing ministry around 2005.
In the winter of 2006 or 2007 I met Joey Gentempo. We began meeting every Thursday, except when one of us was out of town, ever since. In 2009, I met Pastor Seumean Quon at Goode Company Taqueria in Houston. Little did I know then I would travel with Seumean around the world, teaching and praying for healing. God used Joey and Seumean to deepen my ministry in amazing ways.
Today I have prayed for over 400 people around the world to be healed emotionally and physically, and to be delivered spiritually. I have been privileged to watch Jesus perform tens of thousands of emotional healing and deliverance miracles – depression and anxiety gone, shame and guilt removed, marriages restored, addictions broken, sins and their consequences removed; and trauma, abuse, and curses and their effects washed away in the Father’s love.
“He rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the Kingdom of the Son He loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins” (Colossians 1: 13, 14).
