2022 End of Year Letter

Dear Friends,
As the new year approaches His Father’s Heart Ministries (HFHM) remains a beacon of hope for the men and women released from prison and their families. Indeed, HFHM has actually grown and prospered, which is a testament to our long-term sustainability. Throughout 2022, we scored many impressive wins which would not have been realized without faithful partners like yourself. These included:

– Fulfilling a 7-year dream by moving into the building at 2103 N Main St. The Redemptive Justice Center integrates complementary ministry services which assist the ex-offender community.

– Establishing a tailored re-entry program for recently released women facing the horrors of trafficking, especially when they are dropped off at the bus station.

– Supporting law enforcement by providing spiritual and mental help for our first responders who put their lives on the line every day for our protection; and

– Expanding The Journey into His Father’s Heart curriculum, which is approved for use by the Texas Department of Criminal Justice ‘inside” prisons and the parole division.

To build upon this success, we are launching the Women’s Welcome Center which helps women ex-offenders successfully transition back into today’s society. Unfortunately, too few resources are available to help them find jobs, housing, and the basic needs to thrive and take care of their families. Without the basic necessities to live a decent life, they find themselves in a destructive, never-ending cycle that will return them to prison. The Women’s Welcome Center will serve as a safe one-stop shop to accommodate all their immediate re-entry needs.

This year your faithful investment in HFHM will yield a double blessing. When we approached The Mabee Foundation with our plan to launch the Women’s Welcome Center, they agreed to provide us with a challenge grant. Graciously, they will match your donation dollar for dollar up to $80,000. For example, a gift of $200 will immediately benefit HFHM with $400! By “leveraging” your donation we can make the difference between a woman successfully re-entering society or falling back into the system.

We humbly ask you to consider supporting and / or increasing your support by doubling your last gift. It will be followed by The Mabee Foundation matching your gift. This is a win-win situation for all, especially the women transitioning back into society. What a wonderful Christmas gift!

Please think and pray upon it. Most importantly, thank you for your help and have a joyous Christmas!
